Acquisition Basics
The purpose of this course is to introduce you to the Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition process. Five stages of the process are discussed including: Materiel Solution Analysis; Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction; Engineering and Manufacturing Development; Production and Deployment; and Operations and Support. This is an important course for any company that intends to work with the DoD.
