New website for NIH small business and entrepreneurship programs
NIH’s SEED (Small business Education and Entrepreneurial Development) Office has launched a new website, seed.nih.gov. This new site consolidates Small Business Program (SBIR/STTR) and academic entrepreneurship resources from across the NIH.
Who is seed.nih.gov for?
- Small business biomedical entrepreneurs, who may apply for or already hold SBIR/STTR awards, can check out open funding opportunities, our step-by-step infographic of the application process, and the business and commercialization support we provide to innovators.
- Academic researchers at over 100 research institutions can learn how the NIH Proof of Concept Network provides funding and expertise to turn their scientific discoveries into healthcare products.
- Investors and industry partners can find cutting-edge NIH-funded technologies or seek out current awardees in specific scientific areas.
The new website showcases the impact of NIH’s Proof of Concept Network and Small Business Programs through a collection of 75 success stories demonstrating NIH’s role in turning discovery into health.
Additional content will roll out over the next several months to support NIH’s entrepreneurial community.
