Erick Page-Littleford serves as the Director for the Small Business Innovation Research and Technology Transfer division within SBA’s Office of Investment and Innovation (OII). Through these roles, Erick leads the strategic planning, management, monitoring, and implementation of America’s Seed Fund, the largest non-dilutive federal innovation research and technology transfer program. As Program Manager, Erick leads SBA’s federal-wide oversight and policy guidance activities governing the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs, executed by 11 federal agencies that are comprised of 30 independent departments and subagencies. Erick is also leading the technology transformation of SBIR.gov, including a modernization effort focused on a customer-centric entrepreneur-first persona based on extensive external customer discovery efforts.
Prior to joining SBA, Erick accumulated more than a decade of experience through multiple leadership roles working for Women-Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, serving in principal roles managing, executing, and creating initiatives beneficial for small businesses and innovators pursuing or engaged with the SBIR and STTR programs. Erick has championed policy changes supportive of enhanced engagement of new program entrants--especially underserved communities and geographies, and policies to support and accelerate the commercialization of federally funded research and development.
Erick earned his B.S. in Public Policy and his M.S. in Science, Technology & Public Policy from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). He is certified at the Mid-Level as a Program and Project Manager (FAC-P/PM) by the Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI), as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute, and as a Certified Scrum Master by the Scrum Alliance.
